Against the backdrop of the rising political tensions in China, investment into SEA countries by Japanese companies is picking up speed. In 2013, Japanese companies have invested approximately USD 230 billion in SEA. As of today, we have more than 800 Japanese multinationals based in Malaysia. More and more Japanese companies are setting their footprints in Malaysia and looking for the right environment for their enterprises in respective industries to prosper, particularly in the IT and manufacturing sectors.
The interview discussed on the Japanese businesses’ investments and operations in Malaysia and also on Japanese’s perceptions on IT adoptions which drive the ICT market growth of Malaysia.
