Hitachi Systems Vietnam Cooperates with Danang University of Technology for Establishing Danang’s First Modern Digital Industrial Laboratory

To meet the training needs of high-tech human resources as national strategy “Make in Vietnam 4.0” of Vietnam government, on 19th Jan 2021 Hitachi Systems Vietnam (HSV) and Siemens Vietnam collaborate in researching and investing in the implementation of the Digital Industrial Laboratory project applied technology 4.0 at University of Science and Technology – The University of Da Nang (DUT).

The memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony saw the presence of Former Deputy Minister of Education and Training - DSc. Prof. Bui Van Ga, leaders of the University of Da Nang, leaders of DUT, leaders of Hitachi Systems Vietnam and Siemens Vietnam.

In the spirit of mutual cooperation, HSV and DUT join hands to exploit valuable knowledge and experience in providing technology in the field of industrial revolution 4.0 to develop Digital Industrial Laboratory.
HSV will propose necessary equipment and software for training in digital industrial laboratories and support practical training in these laboratories. Besides, HSV provide automation and transmission equipment and software, Product Lifecycle Management software license (including NX, Teamcenter, Technomatix) and other necessary contents of the academic curriculum in Industry 4.0.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Quang Vinh - Rector of Danang University of Technology said: “The MOU signing of cooperation to implement the Digital Industrial Laboratory project is of great importance. When the laboratory is put into operation, thousands of students, master students and PhD students from the faculties of Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Information Technology are able to experience automation and digitalization technology that global companies are using to design the most advanced products such as automobiles, aircraft, ships, high-tech electronic equipment.”
