Hitachi Sunway Information Systems (“Hitachi Sunway”) today announced the relocation and expansion of its office in Penang to provide better service to its customer base and support its continued growth in the Northern region. The new office is schedule to be operational in early August 2018, and it will be led by Chong Kim Fook (KF) as Head of Northern Region.
Northern Region is in its third wave of growth. The new office will provide greater growth opportunities in the years ahead, in particular with the establishment of the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER) Development Blueprint 2016-2025 (Blueprint 2.0) - a government initiative to transform Peninsular Malaysia’s four northern states into a world-class economic region with an economy worth RM300 billion by 2025.

KF will be based in Penang, and he will be responsible for the strategic directions, operational execution and overall leadership of the Northern Region business.
