PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA – March 21, 2025 – Hitachi Sunway Information Systems (“Hitachi Sunway”), a leading one-stop IT services and solutions provider in ASEAN, today announced key leadership changes, effective April 1, 2025. These changes will impact and strengthen Hitachi Sunway’s operations across Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Mr. Makoto Kawasaki, currently General Manager of the Global Business Promotion Office, Industrial & Distribution Business Group at Hitachi Systems, will now lead the company as Group Chief Executive Officer (Group CEO). He succeeds Ms. Hiromi Nagano, who will transition to the role of Chairman.
This strategic leadership transition aims to leverage Mr. Kawasaki’s extensive industry experience and Ms. Nagano’s visionary leadership to drive innovation and enhance Hitachi Sunway’s commitment to delivering exceptional solutions to its valued customers throughout ASEAN.
