Announcement of Organizational and Personnel Changes

Merging of Two Business Units to Accelerate Hitachi Sunway Transformation to be a “Service Company”.

Hitachi Sunway Information Systems (“Hitachi Sunway”) today announced the completion of merging exercise of Infrastructure & Managed Services division and Data Centre Services division.  The new business unit will be named Cloud, Security and Infrastructure Services (CSI) division, effective April 1, 2018.

As we move on to our 5th year of business, we are glad that we have completed this organizational realignment.  This merging exercise is crucial for us to further strengthen our core offerings, improve efficiency and share resources - to bolster our regional IT Infrastructure business presence across ASEAN and transform to be a “service company” to support our customers digitalization journey.

CSI division will be headed by Ben Chin, previously Vice President – Data Centre Services.  He will be responsible to lead the sales, marketing and service delivery team to get closer to our customers, understanding their needs better and thereby improving our offerings.  Joan Soh, Head of Sales - Infrastructure & Managed Services division will be appointed as Head of Special Projects – CSI to focus on public sector and act as CSI alliance leader for our business partners.  Both will continue reporting to COO, Joey Mak.
