Hitachi Systems Vietnam cooperates with Thu Dau Mot University for Implementing Digital Industrial Laboratory Project
On December 17, 2020, Hitachi Systems Co., Ltd., Siemens Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Th Dau Mot University signed a MOU for developing the Digital Industrial Laboratory project at Thu Dau Mot University.

According to the signed MOU, Hitachi and Siemens agreed to introduce to Thu Dau Mot University about technology techniques related to specialized fields. Besides, all parties agree to discuss the feasibility of applying technologies for the Industry 4.0 Laboratory project. Hitachi Systems Vietnam (HSV) and Siemens Vietnam provide automation and transmission equipment, software and Product Lifecycle Management software copyright (including NX, Teamcenter, Technomatix, Simatic IT software) and other necessary contents of i4.0 education and training program.

By collaborating with HSV and Siemens Vietnam, TDMU will develop academic curriculum oriented towards the 4th industrial revolution; analyze and evaluate the current curriculum and didactic materials according to the standards of the i4.0 curriculum as well as proposing the curriculum framework by adding training courses and supplementary subjects. In addition, HSV and TDMU will also coordinate to organize seminars for graduates to network with enterprises using high-tech solutions such as Panasonics, Yamaha, Canon, Nissan, Vinfast ...as they seek employment opportunities, including full-time roles or internships.

According to the speech of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Hiep - President of the University, cooperating with businesses is the strategy of Thu Dau Mot University to become an application-oriented multi-disciplinary university. Assoc. Prof Hiep believes that the project "Digital Industrial Laboratory" deployed by HSV and Siemens Vietnam will meet the training capacity for Industry 4.0, in-depth research needs of lecturers - researchers of the University. In particularly, the project has important role in supporting students in learning, scientific research, internship. Students have opportunity to access to the most modern technology being applied in practical production in leading companies and corporations over the world, ready for a generation 4.0 engineer.

Mr. Vo Hong Ky – Country Manager, Industries Software, Siemens Vietnam shared his impression of the attention of the School Leaders in implementing the project and hoped that the project would be successful as expected. He affirmed that, by our experienced team of experts, Hitachi and Siemens committed to contributing the most modern and optimal software solutions aim to help graduates have suitable jobs, reduces the gap between demand and reality.
